Dr. Monaf Alyassi, DMD, Endodontist
Dr. Alyassi received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2002 and completed his post-doctoral specialty certificate program in Endodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2008.
With advanced training in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the inside of the tooth, Dr. Alyassi specializes in root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and identifying the source of complex tooth pain. His combination of specialized expertise and a gentle, thoughtful approach helps patients understand their treatment and feel confident in the care they receive.
Dr. Alyassi focuses on root canal therapy and on diagnosing the causes of tooth pain. Because he treats patients in the same Harvard Street office as our general dentists, patients from Worcester and across Central Massachusetts can often have their root canal care coordinated with the rest of their treatment in one familiar place.

What Is an Endodontist?
Endodontists are dentists who complete additional years of specialty training after dental school, focused on the soft tissue inside the tooth, called the pulp.
