Story
KJ and Dan are having trouble communicating. After several years of a strained relationship, the couple take a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to reconnect with their love story… but discover a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on how to handle the situation, with KJ advocating for a quick death while Dan offers to make Mouse’s last moments as pleasant as possible. The couple compromises and moves on, slowly finding their way back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a small woman who can only be charitably described as “eccentric” – she’s the younger sister of their host, and had no idea anyone was staying at the cabin. No problem if they get stuck, right? As the couple struggles to juggle this intruder on top of their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this obnoxious third wheel could threaten more than just their relationship…
